Pastor K.G GEORGE TESTIMONEY & FUNERAL SERVICE

I praise my God who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by His grace. When I look back over the years that have gone by I am able to see God's hand that was upon me all along to preserve me through death, sicknesses and various kinds of trials and temptations. As the Psalmist has said, such knowledge is too wonderful for me, it is high, I cannot attain unto it. I praise Him for His keeping power. As I look back, I am also able to see bow He graciously led me into the fellowship of the saints, revealed His precious Truths to me, revealed His will for my life and in due time called me and separated me for His glorious ministry. I praise Him for His wonderful grace and for His great and high calling.

At home with parents Some months after I was born I died, owing to some sickness I had. While my parents and the priest prayed over my dead body God raised me back to life. When I was about two years old I had a severe attack of chicken pox but God wonderfully
healed me. Some years later I developed symptoms of polio, a sickness for which doctors have no cure. God healed me and I praise Him that I am able to walk about now. The instances cited above I have gathered from my parents who brought me up. I was born to devout parents who belonged to the Jacobite Christian Church. Though they took me to Church and taught me from the Bible concerning Christ I had no personal experience with Christ at that time.
At school and college with friends At school, being put up in a hostel and being far away from my parents, I picked up worldly friends and learnt their worldly and sinful ways. After my pre-University I joined , the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur for my Engineering
studies. During that time I was about to get involved with a very worldly group of students but God prevented that and brought me in touch with some Christian students who had a personal experience with Christ and who belonged to a Christian fellowship there. It is through the association with this group that I first heard about salvation or the born-again
experience. Though I was born in a Christian family, I was ignorant about these spiritual experiences one should have. Though I continued in the fellowship, in my personal life there was no real change and I was  still living in sin. Though I realised that I was a sinner I could not give up sin and I was a slave to it. I had not experienced the saving power of Christ.
While I was at College in the year 1972 God visited my sister's family and brought them to the knowledge of the truth. My sister had taken Baptism and joined the Ceylon Pentecostal Mission. When I heard about her experience I had a great thirst to know the truth. Almost at once God made arrangements for me to come down to Madras and to spend my
holidays with her. He also arranged a 10 day Bible Study at Madras which was conducted by the Ceylon Pentecostal Mission. I attended these meetings. The Bible studies I heard brought about a great change in me, in that it opened my eyes to the precious truths which I had never known before On the 8th Day I obeyed God in waters of baptism. I did this
without hesitation and without consulting my parents. I also wish to mention that I was the only one to take Baptism during these meetings. God had brought me over a thousand miles to hear the truth, so that I could obey His word in taking water Baptism. Though I took Baptism I did not have a clear revelation about the Church and the kind of fellowship
I needed. I therefore attended meetings whenever I liked and lived according to my own will. During this period, the Devil found room to enter my life and he tried many ways, to destroy me. How ever at that time there were saints who were praying for me and God had .mercy upon me. He delivered me from the clutches of the devil and spoiled all his devices.
God humbled me and then brought me to into the fellowship of His saints. God then gave me a .revelation concerning the true church and how it is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. In the Ceylon-Pentecostal Mission, I was able to come across truly consecrated apostles. I write this to stress on the importance of having the right kind of
fellowship after Baptism (Act. 2:42). I then surrendered my life fully to do the will of God laying aside all my own plans and ambitions. The same month God anointed me with His Power and spoke to me that I was a mighty man of valour and that I must do His Ministry.
My calling and the ministry with God God confirmed His calling and will for my life through prophecy, through His word and through His servants.

In the year1975 I discontinued my studies and in January '76 I was separated for His glorious ministry. From that time onward God has been leading me in a wonderful way. I have nothing to call my own in this world. The Lord who has redeemed me from the earth and from among men, is my only inheritance. After my Engineering studies, I was specialising in "deep
foundations' for my research work. Now the Lord has given me a vision of Zion and a revelation about building the city of New Jerusalem, a city with foundations. God shall build up Zion and appear in His Glory. I praise His wonderful name.
Praise the Lord.
